We’ve already published a blog on the new engines that are available in the 2018 Toyota Camry, but back then we didn’t have official fuel efficiency ratings to speak of – only the word from Toyota that we should expect to be impressed with the all-new Camry. Toyota was right. Take a look below to see how fuel efficient the 2018 Toyota Camry is!
2018 Toyota Camry Official MPG Rating
The 2018 Toyota Camry comes standard with a 2.5L I-4 engine and is paired with a new eight-speed direct-shift automatic transmission, which helps to provide smooth and efficient gear changes. This engine is rated with a 29 City/41 Highway MPG rating from the EPA or a 34 MPG for combined rating – which is actually a 26 percent increase over the previous model for combined efficiency.
If you’re interested in going with the 3.5L V6 engine for its increased power, you’ll likely be pleased to hear that efficiency stays at an impressive level. The 3.5L V6 ups your power output to 301 horsepower and has 267 lb-ft of torque, but it still comes with an EPA-estimated 22 City/33 Highway MPG rating.
