RAV4 Adventure vs. Regular RAV4
Too many automakers only talk the talk when they refer to making a vehicle more rugged. That is not how Toyota does things. When they were developing the 2018 RAV4 Adventure, making it actually useful in off-road environments was obviously a major priority. To that end, the overall ride was increased just about a half-inch with the same being true of the new model’s ground clearance measurement. Additionally, upgrades have been made to the drivetrain of the 2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure. Front-wheel-drive-equipped models will have an electronically-controlled automatic limited slip differential and the all-wheel-drive versions use Toyota’s proprietary Dynamic Torque Control system.
Some of the other more utilitarian upgrades made to the 2018 RAV4 Adventure include a towing prep package and a 120-volt/100-watt power outlet in the crossover SUV’s cargo bay.
How much does it cost?
There is about a $700 price difference between the two versions of the 2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure coming to White River Toyota. Models with front-wheel-drive have a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $27,700. All-wheel-drive versions start at $28,400.
