The 2023 bZ4X is available in two simple yet smart trim levels—XLE and Limited. Both trims offer several features and technologies to give your adventures a new twist. The bZ4X is also the first model to provide the new e-TNGA platform that allows more space inside the cabin and enhances your riding experience. It is also the first to launch the Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.0 (TSS 3.0), which includes a wide range of upgraded safety features. Some of them include - a Pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, Lane departure alert with steering assist, blind-spot monitoring, Lane tracing assist, and Road sign assist.

The 2023 bZ4X SUV’s powertrain includes a standard single electric motor driving the front wheels that generate 201 hp and 196 lb-ft of torque. The models featuring all-wheel drive with X-mode use two electric motors, one up front and one in the rear. Each produces 107 hp and 124 lb-ft of torque for a combined output of 214 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque.
